 Humidity in the incubator

Does anybody have an idea of what waterlogged eggs mean?

Eggshells are permeable, which means that they allow certain substances to enter through them. What happens where there’s too much moisture in your incubating medium is that the water "permeates" through the shell and becomes locked in them. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen waterlogged wood, but this happens because the wood absorbs tons and tons of water, and can’t get rid of it fast enough so it becomes heavy, and usually rots. What are you incubating on, and how wet is it?

I’m incubating on vermiculite and the medium is damp with water. It forms a ball. What do waterlogged eggs look like and is their anyway to fix the problem?
