 Which incubator should I get?

I am in the next year or so going to breed mt Leos and Cresteds. Was wondering if I should get 2 incubators or just one. Which one should I get? This is the page I plan on getting from.

Link

Thank you,
Sarah

 Which incubator should I get?

Personally, I wouldn’t bother purchasing an incubator. I’ve been breeding Cresteds for almost a year now and all I use is tupperware and vermiculite. When the eggs are layed I place they so they’re half way buried in the verm, write the date on top with a thin sharpie, place them on a shelf in my room that stays about room temperature (70-80 degrees), and leave them be. Make sure the tupperware, if you do decide to use it, has a couple small holes on each side. With the vermiculite.. put some in the tupperware (about an inch worth), pour in a little bit of water, put some more in (about an inch more) pour a little more water, mix it with a fork or something similiar and keep testing to see if it’s at the right moisture level. The way you can tell is by pinching a few pieces between your fingers.. some water should come out, but not so much that a drop drips down. Oh, and the temperature in my room fluctuates quite a bit, but I’ve never had a problem after several clutches. Hope this helped :)

 Which incubator should I get?

Thank you, but I am not so good with the home made stuff and there are a few problems for me with that idea. The temp in my house moves around a lot. It never goes above 80 because that’s were my AC is set but I don’t trust it. I live in an area that has some major changes during the day. We can get into the 105f range very simply but during that same day it could be as low as 65f. Plus I will also be breeding Leo’s. and I would prefer to temp sex them. So anyone, if you can suggest one of the incubators or do you think i should get 2, one for the Leos and one for the cresteds? I don’t want to spend over $120.00 for 2 or over $80.00 for one. Thanx!

I would definitely keep the eggs in separate incubators
