 Mixing?

i have a 29 gal tank with a juvenile tokay in it. she’s pretty mild; enough to be held. there’s tons of hiding spaces, room and foliage. so here’s my question.

could i mix a new crested with her? i’m going to a reptile expo on saturday and it would be better if i could put them both in one cage. if not, i have an ok setup for the crested. just not as ascetically pleasing. you know.

input?

NOT a good idea. She may be mild in temperment toward you, but that doesn’t mean a gecko invading her territory would be welcome at all.

General rule of thumb: Do not mix species.

Additionally, tokay need a higher day temp than cresteds do, and that could easily kill the crested.

tokays are generally more aggressive then cresties and may trample the crestie when it cums to food! stick with the other cage please!!
