yes actually they do make noises, kind of similar to a chirping or barking noise. i have a community female tank, and at night all the girls talk to eachother! they also make noise when the mate like guido said. it freaked me out because i thought my female and male were fighting before i realized what was going on! i also have a female who when very gravid does not like to be handled, and she will kind of bark at me to let me know "DON"T TOUCH ME RIGHT NOW!!!!" lol, it’s really cute imo, you probably have a talkative one. is s/he housed with anyone else?

 Do crested geckos make noises?

i feed my adults crickets once a month some times they go longer without them, but i have some who refuse crickets and will not eat them to save their life! so that is why i feed them so infrequently. [those are the adults] the hatchlings however i try to feed crickets once a week, sometimes it is a little longer than that.

it is fine to not feed crickets, but does he not eat them when you offer them, or because you don’t offer them?

and if it is the first of the two, how are you trying to feed them to him?

i have noticed that they prefer to eat in their habitat rather than be "put on the spot" when they are put in a kritter keeper with them. also, what size crick are you getting? they could be too big or too small, people at the petstore will tell you to get a cricket the size of the length of the head, but with cresties it is really the width of the head [pretty much from eye to eye] and even then, they will only eat 4-6 at a time [and that is if they aren’t already full] but some are just picky and don’t want to eat them. i know of a breeder on another website who couldn’t get one of his to eat crickets and he said that he took a cricket and pulled one of the back legs, not off, but just pulled it until a little bead of liquid appears, and then he let the gecko lick the drop of liquid and it has been crazy about crickets ever since!

i hope this helps!
