I have a spare 4ft long x 18in wide x 24in tall enclosure. I was wondering if I could house around 5 crested geckos in this cage, they will be all female no males.

it is ten gallons per gecko, so yeah, cause that would be about 89 gallons... They do prefer taller rather than wide but that also has hight, and also make sure it is completely water proof...

Why should it be water proof?

unless you are planning on doing a completely natural set up it doesn’t have to be. but if you are, the extra water will seep through the substrate into the drainage layer when you water the plants and if it isn’t water proof it will leak.

If it’s wood, without sealing it, the wood would rot and mold.
