 Better?

I’ve been doing research for almost a year now and I’m just asking, even though I won’t be able to get a Crested Gecko for a few years, (till I move out of my parents house) and I can’t find out what would be best, and I want to double-triple check: If I’m getting my first Cresty, would it be better if I get one or two? Would they survive better in a group? (which will be the same gender, size and weight) Or alone? Just wondering.

If you want more then one you need to get 2 females of about the same weight. They could still fight and such so its better if you get just one to start. For a first time owner I suggest getting one bigger than 10 grams. Younger than that they can have greater issues settling into a new home IMO. Good luck and its great that you are looking into it now.

if your getting a baby its best to start out with one because depending on age you wont know the sex 100%.

if you get adults you can get 2 females but theres no guarentee that they will get along(though most do) and even then sexable adult females are usually $100+ depending where you get them
