 My question

UM ... can u mix a crestie w/ gargoyle or crockadile geckos a breeder told me i can. im somwat xpeerienced w/ geckos. and no this isnt 2 save space its just i like 2 give geckos the best home they can have other then the wild.

You can, but don’t. The breeder was right that you can, but you will be seriously endangering the crested. Gargs are aggresive. Do a little bit more research.

I’ve seen it done and it very much depends on the size of the tank and the temperament of each gecko in question. Also the size of the crested vs. the gargoyle is an issue the larger the crested the better but still can have major problems.

It’s not a good idea at all. Even though cresteds and gargoyles require very similar in their care needs there are other things to consider, like how they will react to one another. I’ve read gargoyle geckos like to nip the tails of any geckos they’re housed with, which would definitely cause stress and possibly fights with a crested.

Crocodile/Moorish geckos don’t look to be any less aggressive in my quick search on information about them. Territorial conflicts are a big concern, too. In short: Do not mix species.
