Shedding 
how often do crested gecko shed? and how long does it take them to shed it off?

Ours is about six months old and shed for the first time(since we had her) yesterday when I was at work. When I came home about 1:30 am, I looked into her cage and saw no evidence of her shedding. My kids called me about 7 Pm and told me she was and I told them to mist her a little to help her and evidently they said it all came off in one piece and evidently she ate it, cause I can’t find it. So it went pretty fast. Her color is gorgeous now.

growing cresties can shed up to 2 times a month.. it all depends when they go throughtheir growth spurts.. adults shed about every few months. unless you see them all ghost like with loose skin before a shed you usually dont know if they have shed or not as they do indeed eat most if not all of their shed.. just about if not all geckos eat their shed
