 Is Exo Terra bad?

I looked at Exo Terra’s site Exo Terra’s Web site

And in their medium sized rainforest habitat kit was a picture of a crested gecko and i was wondering if the kit was the right sized for a crestie.

The tank was a 12x12x18 for the medium sized kit.

can’t tell you much more but I sounds like a good kit and just wanted to make sure.

exo terra is great but you will need the 18x18x24 or the 18x18x18. the 12x12x18 is only 11 gallons and its too small for an adult, they need at least a 20 gallon tall tank. get one of the bigger ones.

Okay. Sorry I messed up. The 12x12x18 was the small rainforest kit. The medium was the one and i did the tank measuring thing on this site and it added up to like a 25 gallon which is definitly enough for one or even 2 cresties.

Good to here some opinions. I will think about getting the kit.

yeah the exoterras are good kits as long as the size is right for the kind of gecko.. i should know.. i get to play with most of the new kits/cages before or right after they come out when sales reps bring them in(i work at a pet store)

that and the exoterra cages are great.. only ever herd of one issue from one customer that their door latches broke off but i have 3 of the exo terra tanks(12Lx12Wx12H, 18Lx18Wx24H, and 24Lx18Wx24H) 2 of them over a year and never had that problem..

yeah exo terras are nice. i havent seen any of the kits, just the plain cages.

when the pet store by my house got the kits they put the last plain exo on sale. from 55$ to 17$ for an 18 cube! they know me and thought i might want it so they put it on the top shelf and waited till i got there to tell me about it. i got it :)

i think im gona use it for firebellied toads. i have an 18x18x24 for my gecko.

yeah, i trust exo terra. awesome that you work at a pet store.

You could make one heck of a tank with an exo terra.

If you need a kit you can always check online.
