Is this tank good enough? 
i have a tank that was used for freshwater fish awhile ago. i want to get a Crested Gecko and was wondering if this tank is good enough. its a 15 gallon tall tank. 12x12x18. all I would have to do is make or find a screen top. will this work for only one gecko? i also have a small and very large screen cage that was used when i had a chameleon but i read that screen cages are not good for this type of gecko. please let me know if this tank would work fine for one crested gecko

For a younger one a 15 gallon would be good, but adults are Recommend at least a 20 gallon.
I’m unsure if all glass sides would be a bad thing, maybe someone else could be more helpful with that.

in theory. yes. you’ll need clamps to keep the screen down so they cant escape. idk if that take would be to narrow and tall. remember your going to need to get in there and clean it well monthly and be able to replace water daily. as well as remove uneaten crickets.

no it is not big enough. 12x12x18 is only 11.22 gallons. the minimum for one adult is a 20 gallon tall. you could use that for a baby but once it got bigger it would need more room. also the more room you give them the more active they are. i keep one of mine in a 30 gallon tank and the other is moving in to a 33 gallon tank once i finish it. and both mine are super active and healthy.
