 New gecko! and questions

sorry i got no pictures. im still working on some camera problems.
he is eating properly. he gets cricket every once and a while. very active and happy.
well i got some questions

can any other lizard live with him? like a day gecko? if had a large tank could it work?

could i get another crestie of the opposite gender and put them together even if they were not put in the tank at the same time?

the only thing u could do is have two female crested geckos in the same tank and it has to be big enough.

if u have a male with a female it will stress the female out and he will want to breed with her.

You cant have them together all year, just a limited time, or she’ll get too stressed.

Males are very horny, so thing about how stressed out you would be if you were a girl that was constantly being banged.

Crested geckos are territorial and cannibalistic. If there is not enough space, they will fight and the bigger one will keep the smaller one from eating anything. If there is too much of a size difference, the bigger crested will eat the smaller one. They are more lenient with their own kind than they would be with another type of reptile.

Plus not all reptiles have the same needs and requirements, so it would be very hard to fulfill the needs of two totally different species.

You may be able to put an adult gargoyle gecko or chahoua gecko with them, but only for a short time. They may wind up fighting enough to cause a lot of stress.

If you really feel that you have to have another creature with your crested, i’d say you can safely keep with them African Giant Millipedes. Too big for the crested to eat, and a vegetarian that won’t try to eat your crested. For the most part, they can survive on greens, gecko poop, and left over CGD.
