New enclosure and my babies PIC HEAVY man it is hot today and i am having a terrible time keeping the temps below 80 and above 70.....so i got a fan on above the tank its not blowing in the tank just over it and it seems to be helping i have the air on.....i live in a trailer so it gets pretty hot in here.....with the fan the temps bounce around72-74 without the fan it gets to 80+ but let me tell ya the digital thermometer is jumping up and down.,.....would a wet towel on top work or something to help keep it kewl

New enclosure and my babies PIC HEAVY i’ve heard of people using frozen water bottles to keep their reptiles cool when it’s hot. maybe just set one on top of the screen, instead of inside the enclosure. if they’re too warm they may get closer to it to regulate their body temp.
you may want to wait for other feedback, i’ve never used this method myself.

New enclosure and my babies PIC HEAVY they made it i cam home to a 65 degree tank...i just put a cold damp paper towel in there so they could get on it if they got to hot....when i left the temp was at 81...and than it cooled off outside so im sure it went down to the 70s and by the time i got home it was in the 60s I just worry about the lil guys i love them so much and they are babies so i like to take extra special care of them
thank you

New enclosure and my babies PIC HEAVY i have a question...so i am getting a crested gecko and am buying all my supplies on reptilesupply.com and was wondering if the T-Rex MRD crested gecko food is ok to feed. i am also buying a 15 gal tall tank off glasscages. com plus a screen top. is this large enough for 1? i want to get the crestie off pangeareptile. com is this a good soource? i live in southern california so its pretty hot year round, with a slight cooling in winter/ autom(aka now) is that ok if i just keep them at room temp and keep the humidity up? can you feed cresties criets or any live foods? or just fruits. let me know what you think!!

New enclosure and my babies PIC HEAVY i think if you post this as your own post more people will see it and respond...yes i like the idea of the glass tank with the screen top....are you getting a baby or an adult? just becouse i would worry in a 15 with a topper that a baby crestie wouldnt be able to find his/her food....as for the food i use repashy superfoods crested gecko mrp...you can go to there web sight at superfoods. repashy .com (without the space) and for the heat i turned my ten gallon on its side so that i get more airflow in the tank....

It is working well so far.... as for live foods they can eat crickets when their bigger and pinkie mice as well im not sure on how often they should be feed them though.....and the superfoods crested gecko mrp should be there main diet....
