 UPDATE ON BLAZE

As you may know i got my very first leopard gecko, Blaze. I have had him for 5 days and on the first day he ate 8 mealies and 1 cricket. since then he has only eatn 1 mealy last night. i have a 15 day garentee to bring him to the vet, so ill wait a lil longer till i bring him in. he is very nice and very pretty, so i hope he is ok. the people told me to wait like 2-3 days till holding him, so i handled him a lil bit when i was cleaning his cage and feeding the mealies. so ill keep you all updated! :)

 UPDATE ON BLAZE

Sometimes the stress of moving into a new home upsets their stomach for a few days. what temps do you have him in and do you have hide spots? What substrates and I would rather push the crickets than the mealies due to their hard outer shell which is hard to digest. Has he pooped at all?

you really don’t need to fear this, although offering a little variety is never a bad thing. giving babies small crickets give them a chance to practice hunting.

if you have a free health checkup you should just use it. cant get any better than free, even if there’s nothing wrong with the baby. if you can, try to get a fecal done. even if you have to pay for it they’re usually not more than $20, but you can ask.
