 Calcium question?

if a femal crested gecko is at the corret weight for breeding do i still need to worry about the calcium sacs?

yes just b/c she is at a correct weight does not mean she has good calcium stores

Calcium is, in essence, even more important than weight. If the levels aren’t monitored, not only do you risk her health, but also the lives of the hatchlings. Too much calcium can lead to thick shells that are hard to get out of, too little can lead to the hatchling running out before they are fully developed.

In short, it is a waste to breed without properly caring for the gecko.
