Decorations so i have this piece of driftwood that i would love to use in my geckos habitat. i cant find out how to treat the wood before i put it in wih m gecko. i know you have to "cook" it, but i just wanted to find out exactly how i need to do it. and what is the way to clean a rock before i were to put it in. i have a big flat, rounded edge rock that i want to put in.

Decorations for the rock i would think you could just wash it with soap and water and rinse it very well....for the wood if its small enough i no people back it on a low temp but im not sure of the temp or the time if i come across it i will post it for you...

Decorations you can bake the rock and the wood, or boil them.
i believe you bake them at 250 for 10-20 minutes. keep an eye on them.

Decorations i have heard lots of variations on the time and temp to bake wood for. i think i did it at 300 for 15 min or somethin like that. just make sure that you bake it at a temp lower than the temperature that the wood will catch on fire at. and watch it closely and make sure that it doesnt catch on fire.
i boil rocks to sterilize them.
