 Any good sites to buy on?

Hey all you great crestie people!!
I was a regular on the corn snake forum a few years ago and the posts were super helpful as I got started with my corn snake (he is 4 years old now and doing great, by the way ). Now I am counting on you all to help me as I think about a cresite...

I was at Petsmart the other day and totally fell in love with a crestie they had there! OMG they are SOOOOO adorable!!! I simply must have one! I have been doing research about the care and it seems fairly straight forward. The only thing is that I would much prefer to support a private breeder who is in it for the love of the animal rather than for the love of money. Do you know of any good breeder sites where I could buy a crestie?

Also, if you have any suggestions for a first time crestie owner, that would be great too.

There are quite a few good sites out there, can’t find or remember them at the moment. But something else you might want to consider is visiting a reptile expo, as many of the vendors selling cresties know their stuff and really care about them.

pangea reptile . com (all together) is a reputable breeder, and they have great crested specific forums. the people there are helpful and many of them are breeders themselves.

Thanks for your feedback! I actually just found a cute little light tan (should get Dalmatian spots as he ages) from the Crown Jewel Reptiles site. I wish I could attend a show, but I live in the Rio Grande Valley and there is nothing like that near by. The closest would be San Antonio or Houston, both 4-5 hours away. Temps are still too high for safe shipping so I now need to wait patiently for a break in the 90’s so my little guy will have as safe and comfortable trip as possible.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!
