Gargoyles are generally very friendly and have a dispostion much like crested geckos, they are a bit more um.....clownish and are also partially active during the day even thought they are nocturnal. There is a special diet called the Gargoyle gecko diet or GGD, which eliminates the need for insects, or you can feed supplemented babyfood and insects.

cresteds are easier to handle, easier to care for, and more social with cresteds. dont get me rong gargoyles make amazing pets (i have one) but should be cared for by more experienced keepers. hope this helps
