My first Gargoyle!

We went to reptile show yesterday and bought our first Gargoyle Gecko! S/he is soooo cute! Only 4 weeks old, weighs 5 grams, and is 3-3/4" long (body only 2").
Just wanted to share it’s pictures with you!

AWWW its a skinny baby pebbles lol with ours her bellys bigger than her head. Not too many people come here if you have qs you can pm and ask me or go on the crestie forum since gargoyles care is almost(if not exactally) the same as a crestie

Yeah! I noticed not too much activity on here!!!
I’m on the crested site, too, my crestie Chippee!
I haven’t named this guy yet... is yours Pebbles?? My husband and I keep arguing over the name! I want something different, not a human-type name! We’ll come up with something eventually! I just love the color on their tummys... i’m so used to my leos white bellies!
Did you see the pic of my daughters new tangerine baby (on leopard community)? Its soooo pretty!!! Bright tangerine color and lots of carrot in her tail!
Is your gargoyle an adult? How big is it? They get about the same size full grown as cresteds, don’t they? This one is only 5 grams and 3-3/4" long.... so tiny!

yes mine is pebbles she looks exactly like yours and has been staying dark brown but she can turn to just about paper white and everything inbetween. Yeah i saw the pic of the new leo its cute^_^ my gargoyle is sub adult i think. we got her on April 23 and i think they said she was about 3 months so shes about 9 months now so shes not totally an adult but then shes not totally a juvie. shes about 6 1/2-7 inches long(h-t) now and i havnt weighed her in a while but when we got her she was 6-8 grams. and im fairly sure they grow about the same length as cresties..... although i have heard they get up to a foot but i dont think thats true

You are not going to believe this....
we were trying to figure out a name tonight for our gargoyle, and I just named off a whole bunch of names, including Pebbles.... After a few minutes, Rick says..... PEBBLES - that’s it! So, we have a Pebbles Gargoyle now, too. It just seems to fit him so perfectly - I hope you don’t mind! Our grandkids love the name, too!!

Our gargoyle is just as handleable as our crestie. I really don’t see any difference in them .... they both like their babyfood and crix, we mist their tanks several times a day, they both go as high as they can on the greens or branches, both wake at the same time in the evening, neither use their hides, reptile carpet, etc!!! Yes, they both stick on the glass, and love to hang upside down on it! No difference, only that the gargoyle will get bigger! Oh... they are in separate tanks!
