 10 gallon too small?

I was talking to a friend of mine and she said she was going to get a gargoyle gecko then i asked her what size tank she was using and she told me a ten gallon! I personally thought that was pushing it but what do u think?

Yeah, Cresteds need at least 20 gallons, and gargoyles get bigger than tehm, so a 10 gallon should be out of the question.

they only get to an adult size of 5 inches and an adult pair can live in a 20 gallon if you read some of the garg care sheets here.and if you read enough of the above you`ll find they ARE THE SMALLEST RACH.

None the less, to answer your question, and 10 gallon is too small. A 20 gallon tall is probably the bare minimum. But bigger would help

yes, they do have sticky feet pads - not sure what they are officially called!

That’s why they need a nice big tall tank.. so they can climb up the glass and their greens to get as high as they can and curl up in them and sleep!!
