 Diet

I have been feeding my lizards a variety of insects and once in a while fruit but when I was looking on the caresheets, I seen that on CroBiatach’s she said that you can feed them leafy greens. I have not tried this so I was wondering what kinds would be o.k., or if I should stick to just insects and fruit?

Thanks.

I don’t feed them leafy greens, persay, but they like to snack on the pothos planted in their cage quite frequently. Every once and a while, I toss a little roman lettuce in their when I’m feeding it to my turtle, but that’s about it.

As a main diet, they should get insects, with fruit as an occassional snack(I usually do once a week or so and lace it with their suppliments) The only real reason I started tossing the greens in there, cause like I said, my male was snacking on my plants and I figured I would give him something other then them to eat!! :-)
