 Found a fat lady!!!

we got our male a girlfriend! she looks young, and she has a bit of a weight problem. she’s got rolls! is there a diet or some thing i can do? our male is healthy and fit, will she adjust over time? oh... the diet they are on now is just crickets, young and old. nothing fancy. advice?

I feed all my geckos a mixture of crickets and fruit and it seems to work because when I got my new goldies the male was pretty fat but he’s slimming down now. I usually feed them either everyother day or every third day and for my goldies I put about 5 crickets in for 2 and 2 in my crested’s cage.
make sure there is lots of stuff to climb and maybe she will be a little bit more active, that should help too :P.

Fruit is addictive to a goldie and should only be given as a treat once a week or less. You also need to study up on what types of fruit to feed as some are too acidic for the species and can do harm.

Look down the list of threads and read up on the one I made about obesity. That gives some tips. Crickets are fine.

passion fruit they love it not acidic and just a little sweet
