Goldies need the tank to be at least 70% covered in material to climb and hide behind. The accessories should be on the upper parts of the tank as the golden gecko is arboreal. I recommend sticks, hammocks, pothos or other vines, and large pieces of wood slanted upwards. If you only have hiding places on the ground, they will not be content. Substrate should be something that retains humidity such as Bed a Beast, JungleMix, or unfertilized peat. |
