Remove the goldie from the tank, take the tank outside. Removing the accessories first, you should simply dump out the entire tank either into your backyard or into a trash bag. Be warned that the crickets may go to the highest point of the tank while you’re dumping it out and refuse to flee. But completely scooping out the tank and giving it a good shake should fix t his. You can also optionally use a water bottle and flush em out into the bag. Trash the bag thereafter, add new substrate to the tank, add accessories again, and put in gecko.

Do not leave the cricket problem alone. Once the crickets get old enough and numerous, they will attack and hurt the gecko for food, primarily in the eye, mouth, ear, vent, and toe areas.
