 New baby house geckos

petco had no idea what genders me n my girlfriends new house geckos were,ne way they must be weeks old there no bigger than my pinkie finger will they eat waxworms and pinheads or i have a petstore down the road ne help ?

You’re asking this on the wrong forum. House geckos are not related to golden geckos and do not have the same tank setup. Try remaking this thread on the General gecko forum.

Do not feed waxworms as they are all fat and no nutrition. Too many waxworms over too long a period will lead to obesity in the gecko, then liver failure (Fatty Liver Disease). Try feeding the hatchlings fruitflies or pinheads, only. As they get bigger, move up to crickets. Feed nothing longer than the width between the eyes of the gecko, or they will choke to death on the insect.

Haha, I know how you feel. My geo metro breaks once in a while as well at the most inopportune times.

On the by, don’t feel bad if any of the house gecko hatchlings should up and die on you. Many hatchlings, especially those accidentally bred at petstores, do not make it.
