When she lays them, they are always lumpy shapes, caved in and have holes in them. Any idea what could be going wrong? Thanks :) x |

sounds as if your "male" isnt doing his job.. lol in other words, the eggs either arent fertile, or the female/male is lacking something in their diet that they need in order to produce healthy offspring. they may also be too young and if this is their first go around, they will need a lot of practice... are you sure that you have a male and a female? is the male old enough to breed? is he a proven breeder? first tries arent always going to work out. also, what are you supplementing with? low calcium can be a problem with the egg shells becoming weak and damaged. at least she is laying them and not becoming egg bound. :) |
