 New food?
i want to feed my gecko small roaches or beetle kinda things.....can i? how much? how much$? and where can i get them?

I gave mine cockroaches and it is not a good idea they are hard to kill and if he doesn’t eat them they hide in places crickets can’t fit.

i fed him a beetle from outside once (bad idea i know)..and he went for it right away....is there anything he can be more stimulated catching and eating other than just crickets and mealies?

Well mine did that with the first cockroach but then didn’t eat them. they like fruit I feed mine parts of a banana once a month also applesauce and stay a way from citrus fruits also I have not tried but the CCD might work or moths BUT NOT SUGGESTED UNLESS THERE CAPTIVE BREAD CUS YOU HAVE TO KNOW ALOT ABOUT THEM SO THERE NOT POISONOUS.

mine gets fed baby food when he gets stressed, ive found its the only way to get him eating again, then i switch him back to mealies..but he doesnt like crickets, i dont get why

yeah ive noticed they like mealies better....but at times he wont eat mealies either and they get out of their dish and go hide....so i just wish i could get him to actually hunt...but he doesnt like crickets :(

i got some wax worms to get him to eat something besides fruit because i cant tell if he is eating the mael worms... i know they`re fattening and if i feed him them too much he`ll refuse any other food...yes yes i know all that. but everyone says a goldie cant resist the sight of a waxworm but i guess mine can?? he stared at one as it went all over his enclosure but never bothered to grab it.... he`s crazy.. he chose fruit over wax worms!
