That and the golden gecko will lick the water that is sprayed onto the random foliage and sticks of the tank more than they will a bowl of water. Specially when the water is on the higher portion of the tank, where the golden gecko likes to hang out. That and the random misting will help em out with shedding. Then again, so will the overall humidity in the tank and/or a shallow dish of water.
