Yes I would say you could hold a knobtail gecko. At first they will be skittish, but they’ll be calm after a while.

see with a gecko like a knob tail id be perfectly happy givin it a large habitat and watching it, but id get like 2 or 3 at least so theyd have some company

It has been reccommended that knobtail geckos should not be handled frequently because they can get overly stressed and stop eating.
