 Sorry I didn’t tell you guys! I may need some info...

Um...I thought Boogie was ready, so I put her in Monty’s cage. Well he got all excited and ran right after her. She was pretty passive for the first 2 minutes or so, and he did get a chance to position himself and wrap his tail under hers-for 3 seconds. Then she bit him and ran the other way, which I knew meant she didn’t want to mate. My mom suggested I put her back in her own cage. Which I did. They’re both "first timers" so my dad suggested to introduce them to each other little by little, which I thought was a bad idea, since I think it would stress them out. So, finally my question is (2 questions actually):Is Boogie most likely pregnant? And: Should I put them back together?

That is sooooo good your gecko is ok Well about putting them together again i don’t know if it wasnt that bad of a bite then MAYBE put them back 2gether. Do u have any other 1 year old females? If you do maybe try to brred her? Hope this helped

Seperate them. Usually I’ll let the female and male check each other out for a day or so in two seperate glass aquariums. Put the male in the female aquarium after the few days that they get to know each other. By putting the male in with the female rather than the other way around will reduce stress on your girl. Both of them look awesome. Good to hear that the Boog is finally eating again. Hopefully your going to have a succesful breeding season. Best Wishes.
