 What do you think?

I have put my Temper albino giant, jungle with my normal ghost female. So what do you think I’ll get for babies. I know that they will be albino hets. I just wonder if anyone can guess what the babies will look like. My female is about to explode with two eggs. This will be her second clutch. The first was infertile and only one egg. It was the first time she gave me eggs, so I was not surprised that the one egg was bad.

I’m looking forward to your replies.

It has been four weeks and she still has not laid...

I’m still interested in what you all think about the combo I’m trying. Now I’m a little worried, my normal female still has not laid her eggs. Could she still need more time? Am I just getting worried for no reason? It has been five and a half weeks now that I noticed she was gravid again. The first clutch was only one egg and it was her first time ever, so I expected that the one egg would be bad. Now that this is her second clutch and it is taking so long I’m a bit worried. Please anyone got ideas?

This is the male. I believe that he is about 10 months old, he was a rescue. The guy I got him from said he bought him as a temper albino giant jungle. He now is 84 grams.

This the female. Another rescue, I was told that she was 2 years old and never been with a male. I believe that she may be a normal ghost. not gravid she is about 62 grams. Now that she is gravid she is about 70 grams.

I just worry about how long it is taking her to drop the eggs. Both have their own tank, and she has slowed down her eating a lot. But still has not dropped. Any one have any advice? Is it a hurry up and wait game? Anyone???

well, u might have aberrant babies and they wount have a bunch of spots of the head (when i said not a bunch i mean it doesnt look like some1 took an ink pen and stabbed the gecko in the head a good 50 times)
maybe orange or yellow coloring.
I wouldnt worry if i were u, i think u r just ready for them to be here and her body isnt.

Still no eggs!!! Maybe I’m wrong with my time line. Or with me changing her cage substrate, and giving her a smaller lay box, that could delay her laying the eggs? I have never had this happen before, that’s why I have the questions.

Finally she has laided an egg!!!

No one seems to reply in this thread very often. I think I’ll use it for a journal until there are more replies.

Well Lilly finally laid one egg last night. I can feel that there is another really big egg still in her. She has not left the lay box yet. ( I moved her to get the egg and put her back in when I put the box back in the cage.) Lilly seems to be tired now. After seeing the egg I know why, WOW big egg! I hoping that she wakes up today to lay the other one that she has still in her.

Lilly was funny yesterday she moved all the eco-earth in her lay box from one side to the other four times. Then fell asleep for a couple hours, to get up and do it all over again. By the time I went to bed she was still at it, digging and digging. Thank God she dropped one last night, after that work out! It was like the doctor telling a pregnant lady to walk around to go into labor. I had a good laugh out of her. Poor girl, and now she has one more to go.

It is just amazing that my little leopard gecko dropped that big of an egg! Lilly is over 50 grams, so please don’t think that she was too small for breeding. It is that I put my giant male in with her, and I can tell by the bigger eggs that she is dropping.

Well I’ll update this thread when she lays the other egg. I promise to have pictures of all my little babies when they come out the cooker. Until next time, Later Ron
