 Question about an egg

My gecko laid an egg..she was gravid. well the egg doesn’t look like any of your pictures.. It’s just like an off white color and it had sand caked on it (I had an egg laying cave with the stuff in it)....and it’s got a coule dents in it...is that normal?? and it’s kind of thin..I don’t know..HELP?!

Sounds infertile, with all those dents I seriously doubt it will hatch.

It sound like its infertile. Infertile eggs are much softer than the firtle eggs.
If i were you i’d still put it in an ecubator. DO NOT ROTATE IT!!! it could damage the embyro,(if there is one) treat i like
an firtle egg.
