 Amber’s second clutch is on the way!

Like I said before, this is more of a journal for me, but I do enjoy comments. It’s the 12th of April, and three weeks, five days after her first clutch. She’s digging more and Amber is restless in her egg laying hide, but she’s not digging a lot. I’m expecting one egg, as that’s all I could see last night.


There’s a pic of her underside. I’m thinking they may come either today or tomorrow.
Anxiously awaiting,

Mary, that egg looks like it is sideways, lol. Theres gotta be two tough cuz its her second clutch though , right? Only 50 days left for my eggs to hatch..... I hate the wait!!

Wow, right when I read that, I saw that Amber was out of her hide, so I picked it up to wet it more. I gently sifted around, and I saw a tip of an egg. I ran to get the deli cup, and a marker. This one is bigger than the last one! Yes, just one. I can’t wait for yours to hatch out, Jake! Thanks! I’ll post pics later.

I lowered the temps to 83 today, and in two days it’ll be 82 =).
