 Okay so she layed her egg!(questions)

Just the one egg last night, i put it into a make shift incubator.


At the moment, upon candling - it is quite yellow :(
But am i checking too early?

Congratulations!! Yes, all the eggs at the start candle yellow, then in a few weeks, or a few days if you really want to see them, candle them again with a LED light, but just a white light. If you see any red at all, then keep it. Well, just keep it in case^^. Congrats again!

it’s a good idea to mark the top of the egg with a sharpie (make a dash or an ’x’), especially if you’re going to be removing it for candling later on. You want to make sure you’re not tipping the egg over once the embryo has started to develop, and it helps you keep the egg in it’s correct position even it happens to get moved or hit....
