 Candling?!?!?!

are you gradually turning up the temps, or very quickly?

sometimes at 90 you will get females, I had 2 last year...

I think it’s normal to wait 1.5 weeks before candling, min a week...but i’ve had some that i thought would be infertile turn out ok, be patient.

Yes the mother is albino they are both albino.

Back to my first post.. they are not my first eggs ever they are my first eggs coming from this particular female. and POOKY no candling doesnt give you albinos genetics do. Candling is to see if your eggs are fertile or not. i was just wondering how long everyone waits before they candle.

As far as the temperature goes, higher temps give you "better" looking albinos. I read this in Ron Trempers book and have seen it done. Last breeding season a friend of my took one egg and left it at a constant 82 degrees and the other egg at 82 for the first 20 days and then gradually rose the temp to 90. you can also see pictures of this on leopard gecko.com
