My first clutch was laid on the 26th, but 4 days later it’s smelled bad so I threw it out. I’m expecting my 2nd clutch on May 10th.
Thank you Jake we soo needed this! Now we don’t need to stuff the Breeding Forum with "EGGS!! OMG!" threads LOL.

Thank you for the thread, this is cool!
Well I have three cooking, and all fertile. YAY! Two for cooking for females, and one may be male or female. The incubator is now set to 83 - 84, so I guess I’ll see what happens.
I had two that didn’t make it. The first one was the first egg that one of my females laided. The other was a surprise. When I found it I dropped it into the trash cleaning out the lay box, oops!
I am banking on having two more soon. But if not, then my wife will be happy. Because I’m planning on keeping all the babies from this year for breeding stock/pets. Next year is when I plan on selling some, keeping some for breeding. I want to be able to cross the babies back to some of the parents. I plan on double checking the parents genetics.
I do have to report that I had an unexpected death of one of my females. I am not sure what happened yet. The vet report has not come back yet.
I’ll post pictures when my babies hatch. Later yall Ron

This is my first year breeding. My female Het RAPTOR, Mojave and my Tremper malr, Jasper bred about 2 weeks ago. Mojave is starting to look a bit wider in the girth, so I’m anxiously awaiting my first eggs!!

so far i have 8 hatchlings , all MALES from this season.
I have been taking it easy on breeding because i am still proving genetics on some parents, and don’t have much room anyway...
I incubated MALE so far because i needed male eclipses for my own breeding projects, and any left over will go to make breeding groups which i plan on selling once they are of a decent age.

so here’s the tally...
1 lost egg, i think it wasn’t fertile and just became rotten
2 eclipses, 2 het eclipses, 2 rev stripe x stripe, and....

as of yesterday/today....the stuff i was waiting for: 2 new hatchlings....
i had a male mack snow in with 2 female eclipse siblings; from the same parents that produced the eclipse and eclipse hets that Malissa has...(my original macks and eclipses were from AMGecko)

so, the mack was 66% poss het raptor, i proved him to be 100% het tremper from breeding him to another 66% poss het raptor mack and producing some albinos...so they are both 100% het tremper, but THIS YEAR I crossed him to a reverse stripe het eclipse AND to her eclipse sister (both possible het tremper albino)

yesterdays hatchling was from the rev. stripe female and it was an ALBINO, junglish looking...so now i know that the mother is def. 100% het tremper, and today i found what appears to be an ECLIPSE hatchling , from the eclipse mother...which means since the father is carrying eclipse and tremper genes he is 100% het RAPTOR!!! , which really is a wonderful thing...looks like my alpha male is going to have competition here with who gets the most ladies...

we’ll see about the hatcling when his eyes are opened and he’s up and running for a few days...but what’s cool is that mack male fathered a super snow and an albino super snow last year, so they both could possibly be also carrying the RAPTOR genes..

i’ll try to get some new pics up soon-
-Duane

hahaha, not 1000...lol

really... they do it on their own, no help from me, aside from the ocassional prod, and akward introduction..lol

ok, so about that 100%het raptor thing, i think i may have jumped the gun, my odds looked good, judging by what the gecko looks like...he looks like ababy eclipse, but now that his eyes are open i see no eclipsing at all, and his tail is not eclipse in appearance...i know this sounds unusual, but the eclipses tails all have a slightly different shape, generally it’s more lean, and longer tail...the strange part is, the pigment, for a hatchling he is showing more black pigments than he should...eclipse hatchlings are dirty pink and get more orange and pink as time goes on, then become speckled with age

we’ll just have to wait and see, and i am still waiting for 2 more eggs....the suspense is killing me,
-D

I guess I’ll post the pictures of the eggs. That is a U.S. nickel by the eggs for size reference. Any guess when they will hatch? They are baking at 87 now. A week ago they were at 83 degrees.

I’ve got 2 eggs cooking from a mack x normal cross. My mack female keeps laying outside of her box and since I’m at work they dry out by the time I get here so I have not had much luck with that. My SHTCTB and my Tremper are also gravid so I’m expecting plenty of clutches from them.
