How long till eggs hatch???
I have my eggs in a store bought incubator at 85-86 dgrees. How long does it usually take for them to hatch? Also how volitile are the eggs? do they get hurt when u candle them, or if u turn them but turn them back to original position right away?
I know it is a lot of questions but im sort of a beginner.
Thnx

How long till eggs hatch??? It should take 50-55 days i would think. I know at 90 its 45 and at 80 its around 60 days, so somewere inbetween. You should not touch the eggs other than taking them from the laying box to the deli cup in the incubator. Just candle them in the deli cup. I few seconds is al you need, if its pink then your good. Like i said you shouldnt really be touching them, so rotating shouldnt be a problem. ( I mean if your nottouching them, lol) good luck!

How long till eggs hatch??? I had eggs hatch that were set at 88 and hatched at day 37 and his clutchmate sibling at day 39. To be safe, I wouldn’t incubate them at 90, just for health reasons of the developing embryo. 85-86 degrees will generally give you hatchlings between 45-60 days, and most likely male.

How long till eggs hatch??? What if some one started the eggs at 80, then three weeks later slowly bumped up the temp to 88. How much of a difference would that make? Some of the reading that I have done says that the gender is locked in after 21 days. Is that true?

How long till eggs hatch??? Yes,The gender is locked in at about 2 weeks but 20 days just to be safe.In Ron Trempers book he says and illustrates that incubating at higher temperatures will give you "better" looking albinos. I have also heard that it will improve the color in other leopard gecko morphs such as APTORs and RAPTORs
