 HOW CRAZY IS THIS???

ok im really excited...so excited i can barely type....i just went to fill everyone’s food bowl for the night and head off to bed...and guess what??!?!?!?! i found two little eggs in my mack snow’s lay box!!! i was talking to a friend of mine and told her i was expecting my red stripe to lay eggs any day now...i didn’t even see any signs of my mack snow being preggo...and to think i would have overlooked them if i hadnt seen dirt everywhere in her cage...im so excited...these will be my first babies hatched on my own with no one else’s help and to think they will be a MACK SNOW...the father is also a mack snow so this is crazy...once i talked to my friend she convinced my to set up my incubator in case my red stripe layed soon so i did only 2 hours ago and now I HAVE EGGS!!! im so stoked...sorry guys you dont even know lol

how humid does it have to be for the eggs to hatch? and how do you ad water to the soil the eggs are on to keep the humidity? can the eggs get wet or what?

No eggs should NEVER get wet if u need to boost the humidity because they are denting put water around them the humidity should be around 80-90 on your the Hydrometer for adding humidity i just use a water bottle but a syringe (spelling sorry) like a eye dropper that works great but u can use a water bottle just don’t get the eggs wet lol ok hope i helped good luck
