 Inferta / picked on gecko?

One of my setups is a 30 gallon tank. It has two humid hid boxes, a log, a few rocks, the temp is around 87 on one side and 75 on the other. They have a low sided water dish and are on a cabinet liner. Up until recently this tank housed three geckos, one male and two females. One of the females produces eggs regularly, the other has never laid and egg yet. I recently took the not laying female out because I witnessed the other female picking on her and causing injuries. Why would the one female never lay eggs? And why would the two female not get along? Any ideas?

Maybe your one female isnt mature enough to lay eggs yet.

Yours could just be stressed or have some kind of slight food agression or may even be a hot female. Hot females are normaly very agressive and will never be able to be bred because of this.

My albino female used to bully my male. I seperated them for a couple months but now shes fine and she is always sharing hides with him and the other female.

goodluck

 Infertal / picked on gecko?

Thank you for the fast reply, here is a little more info. I have had both of the females for about 8 months now. The one that is producing eggs was the larger one and now the other one is slightly bigger. Just to make sure I was clear, the one that is NOT laying eggs is the one being picked on (not at all aggressive). The one laying eggs is the one being aggressive. I moved the one not laying in with two other geckos (also a 30 gallon, and also a male and a female) and I don’t think she is being picked on now. Why would the other female be so aggressive? I don’t want her to be the only female in the tank because I don’t want her to be over bred, what can I do about this?
