 New to breeding

im thinking of breeding i guess ihave about 6 yrs. expirence. any suggestions ialso have my leo in an 18.5 gallon long tank also how do i sex and age my leo. thanks to all who answer

Unless purchasing from a breeder. There is no real way to age your geckos.

^ Here is a link on how to properly sex your Leopard Geckos. As you can see, it is quite easy to tell the difference from the two. The main advice I can give you is to do a ton of research and ask questions if necessary. You also have to think of money. If you do not have everything necessary, you won’t have a succesful breeding project. You should right down everything you need on a piece of paper, including prices, more of like a checklist. Well that is pretty small tank for 3 leos. If you want to leave them as a group of 1.2 then thats not enough space. I would say leave 2 females in that tank and get a plastic tub for your male. Introduce him for a week and remove him. I keep my breeding groups of 1.2 in a 3x2 tank. Just ask more if you need help with anything. Ohh yeah, make sure you have a place to put these babies when you breed. Have somewhere to sell or give them away.
