 I need a little bit of help with breeding

im getting a female gecko tomorrow, and i want to breed her with my male. i already read about breeding, i just need a little bit more info from you guys. if i lower the temps in my cage, will it be breeding season, or does that mean its over?

Lower temps simulates winter, when temps heat up it triggers breeding season. You don’t have to lower temps, it is not necessary in captivity it’s only optional.

You have no idea what you’re getting into. Do you have 10 tanks/tubs? Do you have enough hides, bowls, food, calcium, and heat for 20 babies? Do you have the time to care for all of them? Do you have homes lined up for the babies?

Most importantly, is that LG of yours off the sand? Does he have three hides? One on the cool side(80 degrees), one on the warm side(90 degrees), and a humid hide? Does he have calcium?

You’re not ready to breed. You got your firs LG without doing research a few days ago. I waited a year until I knew what I was doing and then decided to breed.
