But if you are still set on it, i would say yes, a 7 year old female is ok to breed. I only say this because leos lifespans are up to 20 years. I would stop her at 10 or 11. If you see ANY sign of health problems DO NOT breed her! Breeding will make the problems worse and cause added stress. goodluck xoLeah |

A 7 year old female should be able to breed with no problems IF she is big enough and healthy enough. The only thing to watch for is egg binding because it is her first season. If she appears to lose alot of weight, then lower your temps to get her to stop ovulating. After a leo gets around 10+ years, thats the same as a 50 year old woman having a baby. Ofcourse its POSSIBLE but very unhealthy for the baby and the mother. |
