 Calcium question

you can get super cheap calcium at reptilesupply. com (no spaces) and shipping is a good price also. you can just get a terra-cota dish from the 99cent store. good luck breeding :)

 Calcium question

The calcium dish should be filled with calcium without D3, this is important because too much D3 is bad and can make your gecko sick.

 Calcium question

yes, the calcium dish (no d3) is necessary for breeding geckos, especially for the females. the process of making eggs drains their calcium supply. and a calcium dish is a good idea even for leos that aren’t breeding.

however, you must also be dusting the crickets with calcium w/ d3 or the leo’s body will be unable to use the calcium.
