 Bathing my leo???

can i bath my female? i want to lower her stress and make her nice and calm. can i bath her today and get the dirt off?

i used to fill a largish tupperware container with lukewarm water up to my leo’s armpits and let them splash around. if this isn’t working well enough, put some paper towels crumpled up in the bottom of a container with a lid (big enough for your gecko). pour some lukewarm water over the paper towels so they’re wet and there’s some water in the bottom of the container. insert gecko and close the lid. let her walk around for 10-15 minutes. clean off any excess dirt with a wet qtip or cotton ball. just be gentle and dont leave your gecko unattended.

With proper husbandry there is no need to give a Leo a bath!

I feel that sticking your Leo in water( which they don’t like) would be stressful.

Why is it dirty? If needed you could rinse it lightly and quickly to remove any "dirt", but I would not soak it. Just my .02

not dirt, but like, her skin seems darker. shes a hypo snow, so ya. shes gravid, so i heard that u can put gravid females in warm water for 15 minutes.

the only time i’ve heard of people putting their gravid females in warm water is to help with egg binding. i’m sure it wouldn’t hurt though.
