Approx. 30 days still no eggs?

I had my male put with my female over night on August 18th. Tomorrow’s going to be September 18th, and still no eggs.

I can visibly see to big white ovals in her stomach, She is 1 year old, and 67grams. (last weighed on September first).

The lay box is moistened on a daily bases.

Any advice?

Perhaps she’s not really gravid? Fat stores can look very much like eggs.

You think that could be it?

I mean introduced my male to the females tub on august 18th and then again on august 28th ( i believe).

Plus, my female dropped 2 grams. And she’s been eating all her food.

just give it some time, but keep an eye on her.

Gently bending the gecko backwards will push the eggs towards the thin belly skin, where they are easily seen.

if for some reason she does lay into winter, i would seriously recommend not breeding her next season. while i’ve never seen any research showing that not having them on a natural breeding cycle is unhealthy, i wouldn’t personally take the chance.

Oh yeah i know. Don’t worry, i don’t plan on breeding her all next year. if she does go into the winter months. I know the minimum is like 5 months between seasons, but i’d rather give her a year break, then breed her again. Besides i have other females that will be up to proper weight (I like females at about 60g)enorder to breed by next season. so theirs really no point for me to stress out this female too much.
