 Leo in need of help

Okay so its the usual evryday leo story went to petshop on last tues. she was on sand and hadn’t been eating for 3 weeks, guy at the pet store says she was to mean to sell as a pet so she was either going to be snake food! or put down! I told him I’d take her, got her for no charge. Went to vets on sun. afternoon soonest I could get in. she said everything looked fine, no impaction, signs of worms etc. got a fecal done just in case, still waiting on results. She still refuses to eat though I tried crickets, mealies, waxworms (no pinkies wont feed them). Finally I’ve gotten her to eat a little jump-start & beef baby food mixture, she only licks it but consumes about 2 1/2 ML of the stuff or rougley 1 tsp. Any other ideas?

How’s her tail and such look? Try pulbing a few mealworms to jumpstart her want for food.

Give her just a little drop of vegetable oil. This helps with impactions, and helps things "move along" more quickly. What size cage is she in? It looks like a 20 gallon to me. Either way, I’m rooting for you two!

Maybe she just needs some time to be left alone in her new enclosure, with no handling or anything for a few days? You could also try covering three sides of the tank to help her feel a little more secure . . . Good for you for taking her right to the vet . . . please keep us posted . . .

well she is passing stools, vet said no worms but possible fractured leg, strange though she walks on all four just fine so were going back for a recheck. Still hasn’t eaten anything but guts.

Got a pic of the stool for inspection since the vet dosn’t normally deal w/ leos says she gets mostly beardies and iggys

Hi, Ive read around that IF your leopard gecko is a Male, and have been housed with other males or somethin, they may go on a hunger strike, even if the others have been moved and may continue to not eat until he dies.
lol random thought.
