Ok, if your gecko isn’t eating, something is probably wrong aside from food preferences.
-How old is your gecko and what are you feeding it? (I’ve heard that at about 6 months they sometimes fast for a week or so)
-How long have you had it?
-Make sure the temp. is warm enough (cold=no metabolism). It should be 88-92 F on the warm side and about 10 degrees cooler on the cold side during the day. At night it should be about 75 degrees F.
-Is your gecko stressed? Does it have a hide on each side of the tank? Is it over handled?
-Is your gecko shedding? They usually don’t eat or eat little for a day or two while shedding. If so, make sure it has a moist hide and doesnt get stressed
-What is your substrate? Particulate substrate such as sand can impact the gecko (like severe constipation) when eaten accidentally. This is very serious and can be fatal. If it is-switch it to paper towels or reptile carpet immediately. Check her tummy for dark blue or black spots indicating internal bleeding.
-Is your gecko skinny? If it has a good fat reserve in it’s tail , and it has only been a day or two, it’s probably not bad.
-Any chance it could be pregnant?

I don’t know if you know all this stuff, but I thought I’d better cover it just in case.

force feeding a gecko is dangerous and stressful to the gecko. You should not do it, only a vet should make that call and do it. Never force feed a gecko.

if you know it’s a boy, he’s probably at least 5 months - if you’ve only had him for 2 weeks, and he has a fat tail - I wouldn’t stress too much! In fact - force feeding him could be making it worse by stressing him out.
If you have fed him a few times, and you have a calcium dish (calcium powder with no phosphorus or vit D3), then if he was malnourished at PetSmart he should be ok now.
You should probably give him some time to relax, a few days without bothering him. Leave a dish of mealworms just in case.
Also, try dropping a waxworm in a few inches from his nose (i notice if it’s too close or too far it takes mine awhile to notice it).

BTW- by "force-feeding" do you mean actually shoving it down his throat, or dropping it on his nose and letting him lick it off?
