 Looking to BUY a female.

Im looking to buy a female leo to put into a 36 inch x 12.5 inch tank along with my high yellow male. But i was wondering if they do go into the same tank will cupid strike them both with love arrows and will they go into a humping frenzy? What can i expect....i’d really like to have 2 leo’s but i know i cant get another male, i just want him to have a companion. ty!

If you keep a male and a female together, your going to have way more geckos thatn just two. If your looking to breed, then sure, they will go into a ’humping frenzy’. I wouldn’t house both of them together for life though. One of two things will occur. Either they fight, and end up having an injured gecko, or two, the male over breeds the female, which isn’t safe at all. The only reason they should ever meet, is strictly for breeding purposes only, and even at that, for a short period of time. If you want two, then I suggest buying another complete setup.

I always have to lecture, we all want what’s safe for the well-being of the animal. For buying a gecko, are you willing to let the breeder ship? If so, I can direct you to some top quality breeders.
