Hi everybody! OK so I wont start babbling I’ll get straight to the point......My parents are restrictive on pet numbers (or getting another one a year or 2 after the one b4) And I don’t want to breed my leo...sooooooo does anyone know somthing me and Cloe (the leo duh lol) can do together??????????I’m not bored of her do’t get me wrong it’s just I want.......OMG I can’t put this right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!anyway if ya know what I mean plz give me ideas! thx!

Ok, I know how your parents are about pets given what you said but what about trying to talk them into a 1nd female to keep with the one you have now. Just explain that while it is an extra pet theres no extra equipment to buy. The only downfall is that if they dont ge talong you will have to seperate them in which case you would end up needing more equipment or end up having to return the 2nd leo. If you do opt for the 2nd leo and the parents agree youd have to get one of a sinilar weight. Just rember you would need to quarantine the new leo for atlest 2-3 weeks if not longer to make sure its ok.

Thank you very much!...I’m not much of a thinker.......I have thought about getting one at an up-coming reptile show so I know they’ll be better in condition then petsmart or petco!Again thanks for the idea!

I recently barricaded a space on my floor off (not too big) and set up a kind of obstacle course for my gecko with books and paper towel rolls and stuff (thats clean) that she can’t hide in so I could kind of watch her be gecko. She seemed to like it, and crawled around everywhere-got her some exercise. She’s a juvenile though, and they are more active and curious than adults so I don’t know if an adult would like it as much. I also did it at night so she was feisty and in hunt mode, and I dropped snacks in randomly for her to find. Since she won’t eat crickets I wanted to find a way to make hunting a challenge.

Also, you can take pictures- there are lots of photo contests to enter on different forums. If you have a videocamera, you can do what I did and make a video!

I don’t suggest getting another girl unless you have a pretty big tank and lots of extra hides (double what you have). Leos are meant to live alone and can get territorial and stressed.

Just get creative!

we make a spot in the lliving room with an obstacle course..next time i do it im gunna take pics...but Spotz loves it...another thing he loves doing is chilling on my desk wandering around checking stuff out...another thing is bath time lol thats major play time too for Spotz..

Anyway, I read the replies last night and thought they were great (didn’t respond til now because I was on my psp). So I am making an obstacle course! I even took some pics last night so I’ll post 2 right now!

That would suck to have parents that only let you have pets if they were years apart from each other. Usually when i want a new pet (usually all the time) i dont even have to ask. I just go to petco or where ever i want and buy the new animal

And I was thinking about just buying one but
my parents said if I get good grades and that junk....
They’ll pay for a new stand and a 20gal so I’m trying not to make them
