Is storing mealworms in the cold cellar cold enough?

You don’t have to store them in cold temperatures. It’s just that cold temperatures will slow their growth done, which will have a longer shelf time. A cellar is perfect.

why not just put them in the fridge...i keep mine in a stack container but then i breed them....cellar will be fine and should slow their growth enough to let you feed them out

I just dont like the idea of keeping worms in the same place where I keep my fruits and vegetables.

KK i’ll leave them in the cellar, I thought it wasnt cold enough because the worms are still moving around. I thought they would stay still in the cold
