Long Time Gecko owners- odd thing is going on 
Hi all- we have an odd thing going on- but before you ask- paper towel, under the tank heater plus heat light, cool and hot hides, moist hide, meal worms- all the right stuff- so about 2 weeks ago Leapordy (my sons 10 month old gecko) stopped pooping- still was eating but not pooping so I did what y’all have said in the past- warm soaks, olive oil, a few wax worms, mineral oil etc- so finally we went to the creature vet today- she said she was big and healthy but definitely looking bloated- xray was fine- no impaction, so she said it could be a parasite- did that treatment plus a laxative type deal we give her 1x a day for 7 days- if no poop- call back Friday....$200 later we are home. Have you heard of this before ..... any more advise would be lovely...... I have to say Leapody was a very good and calm girl through-out it all and my 6 year son has a cool xray picture to show around!!

have the vet run a fecal exam for parasites. other than that let her eat normally and leave her be in her tank. she may have switched poo spots or refusing to poo because of all the stuff going on.
if she still eating and how often?

The problem is there is not any poop to run a sample on!! She was eating normally but the vet said to hold off on food for a few days to see if we could get her to pass a poop without too much over load. She is a mellow gecko- hangs out on the rock all day - only gets ticked when I have to give her the meds. Still no poop and she has had 2 days of meds. Very stressful fo us but she seems fine but not pooping!!

if there is no poop, they can get a smear from inside the gecko.
